Curriculum
Bright Future School is accredited by the Ministry of Education and the LCCI—EDI of the United Kingdom. A few of the curricular subjects given are Language & Literature, Mathematics, the Sciences, Art, Music, Physical Education and Computer Science. BFS focuses on student-centred education encouraging our students to develop their confidence and self-reliance. Each child is recognized as a unique individual and is allowed to express his views and ideas.
The educational structure is organized in accordance with the Ethiopian Educational Structure. Accordingly, our school is organized into Kindergarten, First Cycle Primary Schools (Grade 1 to 4), Second Cycle Primary School (Grade 5 to 8), Secondary School (Grade 9 to 10) and Preparatory School (Grade 11 and 12).
Kindergarten
At this stage students get engaged in language skills development, numbers, life skills, art, and music mixed with indoor and outdoor play.
First Cycle Primary Schools (Grade 1 to 4)
Students get lessons in language skills (grammar, spoken, reading and vocabulary), mathematics, environmental science, computer, and aesthetics (music, art, and physical education).
Second Cycle Primary School (Grade 5 to 8)
Grade 5 and 6 students are offered lessons in language skills (grammar, spoken, reading and vocabulary), mathematics, natural science, social science, civics, computer, and aesthetics (music, art, and physical education).
Grade 7 and 8 students get lesson in language skills (grammar, spoken, reading and vocabulary), mathematics, natural sciences (biology, physics, and chemistry), social science, civics, computer, and aesthetics (physical education).
Secondary School (Grade 9 and 10)
At this stage students get lessons in subjects; language skills (grammar, spoken, reading and vocabulary), mathematics, natural sciences (biology, chemistry, and physics), social sciences (history and geography), civics, computer and aesthetics (physical education).
Preparatory (Grade 11 and 12)
Natural Science
Students of natural science in grade 11 and 12 get lessons such as language skills (grammar, spoken, reading and vocabulary), mathematics, natural sciences (biology, chemistry, and physics), technical drawing, computer and aesthetics (physical education).
Social Science
Students get lessons in subjects such as language skills (grammar, spoken, reading and vocabulary), mathematics, social sciences (history, geography and economics), business, computer and aesthetics (physical education).
